Academic Year at Rosemont International

Rosemont International has two main areas of focus:

  • Personalised Programmes for Schools abroad
  • Individual Students attending Rosemont for a year or a semester.

Rosemont has been welcoming international students for academic year programmes since 1985. Rosemont has cultivated relationships with educational partners across the world, making the school a popular choice for international students. Students have come from all over the globe including: Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Korea, Japan, China, Mexico, Chile, and Peru.

Personalised Programmes

We create programmes to suit the need of each school. They have to be a group.

  • Academic
  • Language
  • Culturally

These programmes are between 2-4 weeks long. They can take place during the academic year or during the summer months. Accommodation is arranged with host families.

Students at Rosemont

A student is given the opportunity to study either for the full academic year or a semester in Rosemont.

They form part of the normal academic programme of the school. They study in the year that corresponds to own schooling in their country. Each student stays in a host family.

Each student is interviewed in order to match the student with the more appropriate host family.

Take the most of everything, day by day because time really flies, and one day you realize you are weeks away from going back to your country. Living in Ireland for a year was a great experience which will allow me to have amazing opportunities in the future just because I have lived in another country using another language for a year. One day you will be even thinking in English!

Living in Ireland is a great experience because you get to discover and experience a different culture and life. It will be hard sometimes but it will get easier and it is definitely worth it. I have grown to know myself better and I have made wonderful friends that I hopefully will have for life. Best of all I have got the opportunity to meet and live with a wonderful host family. You also learn to appreciate thing you might not have had appreciated as much earlier in life. It most definitely is a great experience for life!
