On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd January, The Leaving Cert music class, and Junior Cycle music classes went to the National Concert Hall to see a selection of their set works performed by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra as part of the Music In the Classroom series. It was also lots of fun to hear the orchestra take some of the main themes and musical ideas and experiment with them in funny ways.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable performance and it was a great opportunity to see the orchestra perform the studied works live. It was definitely an experience worth repeating
