Student Transport

Rosemont has a broad catchment area. We’re located along the DART, accessible by Dublin Bus, and Rosemont's school bus collects students every morning. In addition to the areas served by our private bus Rosemont is committed to serving students in Blackrock, Foxrock, Monkstown, Booterstown, adjacent areas and areas accessed from the Blackrock DART station. That commitment is ongoing and will continue.

Private Bus
Rosemont’s private bus collects students from around Greater South Dublin, including: Rathfarnham, Terenure, Templeogue , Firhouse, Knocklyon, Taylors Lane, Grange Road, Marley, Kingston, Ballinteer, Sandyford, Sandyford station on the Luas Green line, Leopardstown, Foxrock and adjacent areas. We have made an ongoing commitment to students from those areas, and will continue to serve those areas when we move to our new location.

The bus arrives at school at 8:30 am and departs at 3:50 pm. The bus journey is generally quite short, depending on what junction a student catches the bus at. Determine how long the journey would be based on your location by reviewing our bus route(PDF) .

Transportation schedules:

• >DART schedule and stops. Blackrock DART station is a 5 minute walk from Rosemont.
• >Dublin Bus. Buses servicing Blackrock include the 4, 5, 7, 8, 45, 17, 114, and 115.
• >LUAS. Sandyford Luas Station (green line) is serviced by the Rosemont School bus and also by bus numbers 5, 114 and 115.
