Founders Week

Last week we celebrated Founders Week.   This year all activities  fro Founders week were during Religion Classes. The students were learning about Opus Dei and St Josemaria. Each class had a visit from Fr. Pat Gorevan who shared his experience from meeting St Josemaria, they watched videos about the spirit of Opus Dei and finished the week with a fun Kahoot!

 

ICGS – International Coalition of Girls’ Schools

We are excited and proud to inform you that Rosemont has become the first school in the Republic of Ireland to join the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools (ICGS) (https://girlsschools.org/)

Our Coalition is the leading advocate for girls’ schools, connecting and collaborating globally with individuals, schools, and mission-aligned entities dedicated to educating and empowering girls.  We are united in elevating women’s leadership worldwide by educating and empowering our students to be ethical, globally minded changemakers.

6th Year Business

On Monday when 6th year business heard about budget 2023 they got busy. Many of the girls had set notifications on their phones to get continuous updates throughout the day

Sports Day

Last week we finally got to have sports day after 2 years!
This year the theme was European Countries. The TY’s executed a range of activities for the teams, with 16 activities in total.

Mental Health Awareness Week

This week the Prefects and Student Council are marking Mental Health Awareness Week with a few initiatives.
During the morning announcement there were quick breathing exercise to start the day off. There are great positive affirmation posters in the atrium.
Friday, we will have Jersey and Jeans day in aid of Jigsaw. Students are asked to donate €2.

Open Day – 2022

This Saturday you are welcome to join us at our annual Open Day.  You will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet teachers and students.

Students will perform at various intervals throughout the morning and Ms Dean, Principal, will speak at 11.30am and again at 12.30pm.  All welcome
