Rosemont School

Working with families to teach ownership of learning and goal setting
Rosemont Secondary School for Girls, located in South County Dublin, works with parents and students to maximise each student's potential.

Rosemont, an academically challenging school, is built on a solid foundation of Christian values.  It is one of the best secondary schools in Dublin for families who want their daughters to take ownership of their learning, set goals and pursue their studies with interest and enthusiasm. The school's academic programme gets results: 100 per cent of Rosemont Leaving Certificate students qualified for entry to Irish third-level institutions. Our past pupils have gone on to pursue success in third-level education and the workplace.

What Rosemont offers families:
Academics - an education that will prepare students for third-level education and the workplace.
Collaboration
– the school works with parents, updating them regularly and eliciting feedback and input.
Coaching
– each student is assigned to a coach who encourages and supports them in setting goals and pursuing success in their professional, human and spiritual development.
Results
– we maximise students' results on the Junior Cert and the Leaving Cert. 100 per cent of our 2006*, 2007, 2008 and 2009 graduates earned high enough points on the Leaving Cert to gain acceptance at an Irish university.
Transition year – the schools' unique programme teaches students to employ lateral thinking and analytical skills, while offering exciting opportunities and a strong academic agenda.
