MindOut Programme

The MindOut programme is part of our overall Wellbeing programme in Rosemont which is delivered to our students in 3, 5th and 6th year.

The programme, developed by the Health Promotion Research Centre at NUI Galway and the HSE’s Health Promotion and Improvement Department, has been proven to strengthen young peoples’ social and emotional coping skills and improve their overall mental health and wellbeing.

The programme is usually delivered in one 40-minute session per week. The sessions are delivered at different times each week to ensure that the curriculum is still being taught without interruption in all subjects.  Please click here to view topics covered.

The programme is a very positive contribution to the girls’ growing maturity and resilience.

Our focus is on the exam and senior years in particular in recognition of the increased levels of pressure they are learning to handle and to support them as they develop their own coping skills for life.
