ATS Spanish Debating Cup

Huge congratulations to the Senior Spanish Debating team, who have been representing Rosemont School in the ATS Spanish Debating Cup competition since September. The team-Sofia, Sarah, Alex and captained by Lucy- have worked hard and beaten teams from Loreto Beaufort, Belvedere College, King’s Hospital and Loreto Dalkey to make it through to the final which took place in the Instituto Cervantes on Thursday January 30^th. The girls performed to a wonderful standard and were narrowly beaten in a hotly-contested debate by a strong 6^th year team from Castleknock College. Alex was awarded Best Speaker. Well done girls, we are very proud of you all!
