Culture Week
This week in Rosemont we were Celebrating Culture! There were many different activities going on to get involved in. Each day our morning greeting was delivered in a different language. The 1st years have very kindly made some posters of flags that were displayed in the atrium. The Prefects held Celebrating Culture Quizzes at lunch for all year groups. Many students made posters displaying the various aspects of the various cultures in Rosemont. We finished off our celebration on Friday with Flag Colours Hair Ties Day. Everyone wore in different hair accessories representing flag colours and some students wore the traditional dress of their culture in. We played music with a cultural flare at lunch. It was a nice way to celebrate all our cultures.
6th Years V Teachers Extreme Tennis Match
Yesterday, in keeping with tradition, our 6th years played the teachers in Extreme Tennis. The 6th years were indeed worthy opponents although in the end they reluctantly accepted their defeat. Technology was put aside for all to live and enjoy the moment, so unfortunately no images to share.
