A prayer for Ashling Murphy – On Tuesday at 11am we paused to pray for Ashling and her family as her funeral mass commenced in her local parish of St Brigid’s, Mountbolus.

Let us pray for Ashling in thanksgiving for her life. May she rest in peace.

Let us pray for Ashling’s family, that they may find peace and consolation in faith, family, and friends as they start to come to terms with their loss.

Let us pray for Ashling’s friends that they may remember all the happy times they had together and never forget this wonderful friend.

Let us pray for Ashling’s students, that they may always benefit from her wonderful teaching and kindness.

Let us pray for the person who took Ashling’s life, that they may have a change of heart and become truly sorry for what they have done.

Let us pray for all of us, that we may turn this sad occasion into a determination to make the world a better place, founded on love, kindness, and respect.

We will now pray the Our Father together.
